Bailey & Keeghan started to play/fight...

This is what happened a second later the previous picture was taken. After this shot, I had to abandoned the camera to attend their hyperactive play.

Bailey & Keeghan with human bro, William

Here is a nice portrait of Bailey & Keeghan with their human bro, William. You might want to ask how I managed to take this picture as they look like they are posing. It was a mere luck, since one second later, they are .... (go to the next picture above)

Bailey & Keeghan love their water bed!

I purchased this Canine Cooler Bed on eBay last year for Schatz but she never had a chance to use it. Now it belongs to Bailey & Keeghan, and they just love it. They take turn to sleep on it, or time to time, they just share it nicely...

Bailey and Keeghan treat time!

They seem like they are just lying down, but they just received their treats after performing couple tricks that they learn. Last one they just did was "down". When it's time for treats, they line up next to each other like military school cadets. So far they mastered sit, stay, up, down, bite, and heel. Pretty good progress!

Forgot to post this, Bailey met Opa

Bailey met Tim (we liked his screen name, Opa), Alice's Dad during the time she was at Alice's house. Opa and Bailey became good friends! Bailey had great time with him while he was at Alice's house...

Bailey started to know what bed is for

Bailey finally got an idea of what bed is for and started to sleep on it time to time. This red bed used to belong to Schatz, which I bought from Drs. Foster & Smith catalog way back in 1994. High quality stuff does save you money in long run, still going strong after 15 years of use...

Bailey got new bro, Keeghan!

Keeghan, 1 year old Golden Retriever, joined our family to become Bailey's brother. Keeghan was adopted by Al's co-worker from Humane Society, but since her work schedule became harder to take care of Keeghan, we decided to adopt him. He's almost 2 years old and still rambunctious time to time, but he's very nice and smart Golden. Bailey is very happy to have someone to play in a dog way!

She sleeps under plants

Bailey loves to sleep between planters, under leaves. She especially loves to sleep under fern leaves hanging... This spot remained her favorite for good 2 weeks.

Bailey fights with camera strap

Bailey fights with camera strap. She held onto this for good 20 minutes... Loves anything hanging.

Bailey plays with Jared

Bailey plays with Jared in the backyard. She is that small! She bites your pants as you walk, or mistakenly your skin on your feet...

Bailey sleeps upside down

Bailey likes to sleep upside down, tummy side up. She especially look like a bat when she sleeps this way...

Sophie & Bailey getting to know each other...

Bailey sniffing Sophie's butt, getting to know each other. Sophie is the smallest Chihuahua out of 4 Chihuahuas. When Alice rescued Sophie, she was a little more than 2 lbs. By the way, all the pictures at Alice's house, credit goes to Alice who took these great pictures and shared with us.

Bailey sleeps on a rock

It seems so uncomfortable, but that's what she likes. Taking a peaceful nap in Alice's backyard.

Lana & Bailey getting to know each other..

Here, Bailey is sniffing the ground with Lana at Alice's backyard. Lana is a poodle that was rescued from a puppy mill. Now she is adopted by Alice, looking at her best like celebrity doggy. We thought Bailey was so tiny, but forgot that she is pretty big compared to Chihuahuas...

Bailey at Alice's house

Unreasonable side of us adopted Bailey a week before our trip to TX. Our dear friends, Alice and Tom bravely offered to watch Bailey for 10 days for us! Alice and Tom have 4 unbelievably cute Chihuahuas and 3 cats. It was a great opportunities for Bailey to socialize and being taught "manners" from those Chihuahuas!

Bailey gets into everything...

She gets into everything chewing and munching. Eats rocks (of course we take them out of her mouth!) roots of houseplants, bugs, you name it. We are on duty of constant watch on Bailey... What a difference from having nice and tame senior dog...

Rambunctious Bailey...

We forgot how rambunctious puppies are... I vaguely remember that the previous owner said that she's the most playful one. She also looks like a mixture of bat & dog. I know for sure that her mom dog is a black Labrador, but who knows what dad dog was. Having long legs not like typical Labrador, I suspect pointer or dalmatian...

Meet Bailey, Our New Pup!

Bailey came to join our family on July 18th. It has been 3 months since our beloved German Shepherd of 15 and a half years, Schatz, passed away.

Red Box at McDonald was broken down that day, so I had to go to Wal-Mart to return an over due movie. Then I found her in a pick up truck, along with her litter mates. The sign said "Free Lab Puppies", and there are only 3 pups left out of 9 pups. As soon as I got there, the cutest one out of those 3 was adapted, so there were 2 left, one with white chest and feet, and one all black. The one with white chest really got my attention, and I knew this is the one that we should adopt...
